Blizzard Confirms it is Working on Multiple New IPs, But You Might Never See Them
Blizzard confirms that it has multiple new IPs being worked happening by incubation teams, but reminds us that they could never materialize.
During yesterday's Activision Blizzard earnings call, Blizzard chairperson and co-founder Microphone Morhaime aforementioned that while much of the company's focus the right way now is on supporting its current portfolio of games, it's likewise looking untried projects. Atomic number 2 pointed out that Snowstorm co-founder Grace Ethel Cecile Rosalie Allen Adham came back to the company last year to fountainhead the teams incubating those inexperient projects.
Morhaime said that some of those projects were things that Blizzard was impermanent on before Adham returned, while others are stigmatize new IPs.
